Lodi made his appearance in Destiny 2 The Edge of Fate, and, without spoiling too much, he has a strong connection to the Nine. The Vessel of the Nine side quest tells more about what’s happening to our friend from the past and how it may affect his future.

Connect to dark matter sources
The quest begins at the entrance to the Central Academy, and as you make your way into the Aionian Campus, Lodi will contact you. On the far side of the Campus, go to the left of the yellow nodes to find two dead Eliksni. Connect to the dark matter source and contact Lodi.
Anytime you’re close to the objective, you’ll have a “Near Objective” buff in the bottom left of the screen. If you’re lost, use the map to locate the search areas for the quest.
From there, shoot the yellow nodes blocking the Rosetta frequency and interact with the terminal to open the door. Follow the path inside until you encounter a Fallen patrol. Kill the enemies and connect to the dark matter source to the left of the door.
Once you reach the big room with a large red terminal in the middle, kill all the adds, and look for the last dark matter source under the main stairs. There’s also a chest for you to open for some destination weapons or armor, like the Agape hand cannon.
Engage with the symbol
The last step is to interact with the symbol of the Nine. It’s a small blue orb on the overhead crane. The easiest way to climb up there is to use the peeled-off walls on the right side. There’s enough room for you to mantle, and any class should be able to use their jump to reach the symbol.
