Latest Destiny 2 event is a perfect time for you to stock up on Renegades gear

Get a headstart when Renegades launches.

The final event of The Edge of Fate, Call to Arms, kicked off in Destiny 2 on Nov. 11. Apart from multiple event weapons for you to chase down, Call to Arms also offers a head start on the next expansion, Renegades. So now might be a good time to log on and play if you plan to dive into the Star Wars adventure next month.

In the Call to Arms event in Destiny 2, you can earn Lawless Vouchers. Lawless Vouchers contain a random assortment of Season 28 gear, an Enhancement Core, and other items. Additionally, every four Lawless Vouchers you use grants a consumable that guarantees a Prime drop upon the next activity completion.

Bungie already showcased some of the Legendary and Exotic gear coming to Destiny 2 with Renegades, including blasters modeled around iconic Star Wars weapons, like the DL-44 and EE-3. While we don’t know exactly which items drop from Lawless Vouchers, they might be included.

You can earn up to 19 Lawless Vouchers from the Event Pass and possibly more throughout the event. Keep in mind that you can only open Lawless Vouchers when Renegades launches on Dec. 2, and not earlier.

Apart from the Lawless Vouchers, now it’s the best time to get your hands on any of the event weapons you missed out on since The Edge of Fate’s release (not including Solstice and Festival of the Lost). This includes weapons from Arms Week, Reclaim, and the long-eluding Stasis crossbow.

Weapons in Call to Arms drop at a higher tier, just like during Solstice and Festival of the Lost. If you’re above 400 Power, you can easily get Tier 5 versions of all the weapons you want thanks to the attunement feature at Devrim in the Tower.

Here are all the weapons you can get during the event:

  • Submersion: Stasis High-Impact Frame crossbow.
  • Romantic Death: Void Wave Frame grenade launcher.
  • Folded Root: Void Aggressive Frame rocket launcher.
  • Ribbontail: Strand Adaptive Frame trace rifle.
  • Synanceia: Solar Wave Sword Frame sword.
  • Phoneutria Fera: Solar Spread Shot hand cannon.
  • Trachinus: Stasis Rapid Fire Slug shotgun.

Complete activities with the Call to Arms weapon engram as a bonus drop, and collect Daily Shipment chests in the Tower to get as many drops as possible. Longer activities, like The Coil, offer more event drops than shorter ones.

Competition and exclusive rewards in Destiny 2 Call to Arms

As you complete activities featured in the event, you can also compete for higher scores to get exclusive rewards. The activities include The Coil, Proving Grounds, Curcible: Zone Control, The Salt Mines, and the Heliostat Exotic mission. The higher your score, the more points you get, with 100 points awarding the Seraphim Age Mask universal helmet ornament.

The Call to Arms event runs for two weeks, until Nov. 25 (not until the Renegades release). Bungie has already stated that it’ll adjust the scoring system to no longer account for Power and change how certain modifiers affect the final score, giving more loadout options.
