A speedrunner named Blubbler has managed to rescue Princess Toadstool in the original Super Mario Bros. on the Nintendo Entertainment System in under five minutes—4:57:69 to be exact. Bubbler now holds the current world record for fastest completion of the game.

Super Mario Bros. speedruns depend on skipping almost the entirety of the game through the use of Warp Zones and other shortcuts, as well as absolutely nailing every key jump to be made. The platformer skill on display here is simply amazing.
