The French Revolution: ESL Pro League Season 5 Week 1 Day 3 Recap

EnVyUs's win against G2 may be foreshadowing the future of the French "super team".

The first week of ESL Pro League Season 5 contention has come to a close and many surprising results have emerged after one week. Today’s set of matches saw the biggest unforeseen upset in the pro scene: Team EnVyUs trumping the French “super team” G2 Esports. In that match, former G2 one-tapper Adil “Scream” Benrlitom had a 24-17 KDR on Cobblestone and a massive 35-13 performance on Cache that carried EnVyUs to an easy 2-0 in their day against their fellow Frenchman. Here are today’s full results from both regions of the Pro League.
