SL i-League StarSeries Season 2 Finals Event Preview

With literally hours until the event, here is your preview of the upcoming SL i-League StarSeries Season 2 finals.

After a long online season, somesmall events on the side and a bunch of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive,the season two finals are upon us.In just a couple of hours, 16 teams will load their rifles andready their Molotovs for a chance to get a big bite of$300,000.

The prize money will bedistributed as follows:

  • 1st – $150,000
  • 2nd – $50,000
  • 3-4th – 25,000
  • 5-8th – $10,000
  • 9-12th – $4,500
  • 13-16th – $3,000

 

The tournament itself willfeature the standard four group set up, with the top two teamsadvancing to a single elimination, best-of-three playoff bracket.The opening, winners and elimination matches will be best-of-onesand the decider matches in the groups will be abest-of-three. If a team loses twice, they are out.

You can see these great teamsbattle it over the next couple days, from Sept. 7-11.
