Mikail “Maikelele” Bill will don his Pyjamas today, joining what used to be the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team on the planet on a trial basis.

Bill will attempt to return Ninjas in Pyjamas to their former glory. The team has won more Global Offensive tournaments than any other, but recently suffered from a rash of poor results. At last week’s Electronic Sports World Cup in Paris, France, the team fell in the group stage, leading to Johansson’s departure.

The 23-year-old Swedish player may not be a big star, but Ninjas in Pyjamas doesn’t need star talent. Bill put together solid performances as a member of SK Gaming and LGB and should fit well into a Ninjas in Pyjamas lineup where his versatility will allow him to play around the star talents lining the roster.

“He is a young and hungry player that has impressed me a lot over the last few months,” Emil “HeatoN” Christensen, Ninjas in Pyjamas founder and owner, said. “He has a lot of people to prove wrong and we have decided to give him a chance of a lifetime and we will see what the future shows.”

Dreamhack Winter and its massive $250,000 prize pool looms at the end of November. Ninjas in Pyjamas will have a tough task ahead of them with their new recruit in tow.
