The semifinal matches of the $750,000 ESL Pro League Season Six Finals have been determined, after the second quarterfinals ended earlier today.
Misfits stunned HellRaisers on Cobblestone and Overpass to continue their tournament run in Odense, Denmark. Their quarterfinal win puts them into the semifinals against SK Gaming tomorrow.

Map one Cobblestone was initially a slow contest between both teams, but Misfits made the game more interesting before halftime, which came at a 9-6 score in the North Americans’ favor. Misfits gained a good lead at 12-6, except HellRaisers answered back with a handful of explosive offenses to force overtime later on. Misfits came close to sweeping the CIS-region team in overtime 4-0, making them a little overzealous in their pursuit for the map win. This allowed HellRaisers to overcome the high-pressure deficit to force double overtime. From there, Misfits finally completed an overtime sweep to end the mini Counter-Strike marathon 22-18.
David “devoduvek” Dobrosavljevic of Misfits turned many heads with his impressive Cobblestone performance. Devoduvek attained 37 frags, a 99.1 average damage per round, and several multi-kills in his stomp of the Europeans.
With forward momentum in their favor, Misfits continued their performance going into Overpass. Their strategy-reading and retaking abilities were on point to earn them a 10-5 lead at the half, while almost every player on HellRaisers struggled in the fragging department. Misfits won the second pistol round with ease, and it was essentially the nail in the coffin for HellRaisers. Misfits closed out the series cleanly with a 16-6 scoreline over the CIS-region powerhouse.
Misfits’ semifinal battle against the world’s best team, SK Gaming, begins tomorrow 1:50pm ET.
