ESL CS:GO Winter Pro League Day 2 Recap

Day 2 consisted of the elimination and decider matches. Now, only four teams remain in the tournament.

After an exciting set of Day 1 matches, we now moved onto elimination and decider matches of the ESL Winter Pro League in Cologne, Germany. Day 2 of the event concluded with only four teams remaining.

Group A

Losers Match – Natus Vincere vs. Virtus.Pro

Cache:

– First Half: VP (CT) won pistol, took Na’Vi (T) 10 – 5.

– Overall: 16 – 5 | VP (T) took a lead in the series 1-0.

Mirage:

– First Half: Na’Vi (CT) won pistol, took VP (T) 12 – 3.

– Overall: 16 – 4 | Na’Vi tied up the series 1-1.

Inferno:

– First Half: Na’Vi (T) won pistol, took VP (CT) 12 – 3.

– Overall: 16 – 9 | Na’Vi (CT) took the series 2-0 over VP (T).

After their win over Virtus.Pro, Natus Vincere advanced through to the Group A decider match to play Team Dignitas for a spot in the Semi-Finals. Virtus.Pro were eliminated.

Decider Match – Natus Vincere vs. Team Dignitas

Mirage:

– First Half: Na’Vi (CT) won pistol, took Dignitas (T) 11 – 4.

– Overall: 16 – 4 | Na’Vi (T) took a lead in the series 1-0.

Cobblestone:

– First Half: Na’VI (T) took pistol, took Dignitas (CT) 12 – 3.

– Overall: 16 – 3 | Na’VI (CT) took the series 2-0.

After their win over Team Dignitas, Natus Vincere advanced to the Semi-Finals where they will play the expected tournament winners, Team EnVyUs. Team Dignitas were now eliminated.

Group B

Losers Match – Copenhagen Wolves vs. 3DMAX

Cobblestone:

– First Half: 3DMAX (T) won pistol, took CPH W (CT) 8 – 7

– Overall: 16 – 7 | 3DMAX (CT) took a lead in the series 1-0.

Nuke:

– First Half: CPH W (T) won pistol, took 3DMAX (CT) 8 – 7.

– Overall: 16 – 14 | 3DMAX (T) took the series 2-0 over CPH W (CT).

After their win over Copenhagen Wolves, 3DMAX advanced through to the Group B decider match to play Titan for a place in the Semi-Finals. Copenhagen Wolves were eliminated.

Decider Match – Titan vs. 3DMAX

Inferno:

– First Half: 3DMAX (CT) won pistol, took Titan (T) 9 – 6.

– Overall: 16 – 14 | Titan (CT) took a lead in the series 1-0.

Dust2:

– First Half: 3DMAX (T) won pistol, took Titan (CT) 12 – 3.

– Overall: 16 – 10 | 3DMAX (CT) tied up the series 1-11.

Cobblestone:

– First Half: Titan (T) won pistol, took 3DMAX (CT) 14 – 1.

– Overall: 16 – 6 | Titan (CT) took the series 2-1 over 3DMAX (T).

After their win over 3DMAX, Titan advanced to the Semi-Finals where they will play Team SoloMid on Sunday. 3DMAX were now eliminated from the tournament.
