ELeague Day 1 Recap

A recap of the first day of the Turner ELeague.

Today kicked off the inaugural Turner ELeague, a brand new league for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This week marks the play of the first group, consisting of Luminosity Gaming, Cloud9, Renegades, and Team Liquid. We saw almost everything today, ranging from an overtime match to a 16-0 shutout in just the first two matches of the day, between Luminosity and Renegades. This went along with plenty of exciting matches and plays right from the start of this already exciting league. Be sure to tune in the rest of this week for the ELeague, as well as the TBS T.V. channel at 10 p.m. EDT on Friday for the championship match of this group. The matches today were six individual best-of-one series, with teams playing the best-of-one back-to-back against their opponent.
