Damian "Daps" Steele, captain of the OpTic Gaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team, has officially left the team. With his announcement he made on this post on TwitLonger he officially said that he is leaving the team.

Daps did not go in to full detail on why he made the decision. As some of you may know, he and Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz did get in a few confrontations, but Daps has mentioned that this was not the reason for him leaving and that he and stanislaw are still good friends. He also goes on to mention that stanislaw will "do an excellent job leading the team in the future," which leads us to believe that stanislaw may be the new team captain. As far as the next captian, nothing is set in stone yet until an official announcement is made by OpTic Gaming.

Who do you think the new captain of the OpTic roster will be? Where do you think Daps is headed? Let us know by commenting below or tweeting us @GAMURScom.
