The Gosu Crew Introduces Second Lineup, Featuring DraMa and Maux
Several organizations within Call of Duty used to host two teams under their banner, such as OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan.
Although that seemed to be a trend of the past heading into Infinite Warfare, The Gosu Crew has picked up a second team just before MLG Atlanta and ESWC Paris, according to a tweet on the organization's official Twitter.
GosuCrew Blue consists of an already contracted player in Anthony "DraMa" Padilla as well as Chance "Maux" Moncivaez, formerly of Team Revenge, Preston "Priest" Greiner, who last played for PNDA Gaming, and John "Xotic" Bruno, who most recently played for compLexity Gaming.
There was some speculation on the future of this roster after they were seen competing in various 2k and ladder tournaments on GameBattles for pro points after MLG Vegas. This team's best finish was a top-four placement on the Jan. 22 2k.
At one point, this team was eligible for an MLG Atlanta pool spot, however a week before the cut-off, the team earned a top-16 finish in the Jan. 29 2k tournament. This allowed Team Allegiance and Evil Geniuses to find themselves in the last two pool play spots, leaving DraMa and company to fight through the open bracket in Atlanta.
Although it is a sister team, the GosuCrew Blue side has more points than the "main team," which includes Call of Duty veteran Eric "TwiZz" Servello, Zack "GodLike" Goldstein and Issac "Fox" Padilla, as the main GosuCrew team consistantly finished top-32 in three 2k tournaments played.
With both Gosu Crew teams playing in the MLG Atlanta open bracket, there could be the possibility of a "sibling rivalry" in the tournament if these two teams perform well enough.
