Warzone EWC 2025 format
The tournament is expected to follow the same format as last year and the regional qualifiers, with matches played in Resurgence Trio mode on Rebirth Island. It’s split into three main phases: Group Stage, Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ), and Finals.
To start, the 21 teams are split into three groups of seven. They face off across four maps, and the top seven squads punch their ticket straight to the Finals. The remaining 14 teams drop into the LCQ, where they battle it out in six matches for the final seven spots in the Finals, the championship round.
The Finals use the Match Point format, meaning there’s no set match limit. Once a team hits the required point threshold, they’re placed on Match Point status. From that point on, if they win a match, they take the title. Multiple teams can be on Match Point at the same time, but only the first to seal a win after reaching the target score are crowned the Warzone EWC 2025 champions.
