Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone introduces a set of new weapons, including the Maddox RFB assault rifle.

The Maddox RFB returns as a bullpup assault rifle with a very fast fire rate and strong handling, similar to its previous appearance in Black Ops 4. In Season 1, it’s not locked behind store bundles or challenges, and it sits directly on the free path of the Battle Pass.

How to unlock the Maddox RFB in Black Ops 7 and Warzone

The Maddox RFB is a free weapon that you can obtain from page 6 of the main Season 1 Battle Pass track.

Earn Battle Pass tokens through regular gameplay in Multiplayer, Zombies, Campaign, or Warzone, and you will unlock the rifle automatically. You won’t need to purchase the Premium Pass. Simply use your tokens to unlock the items on each previous page, then spend one on the Maddox RFB when page 6 is accessible.

Additionally, there’s a special Maddox RFB weapon blueprint available as a High Value Target (HVT) reward from page 14 of the Battle Pass. To claim it, you must unlock everything on that specific page and use a token on the blueprint node.

If you own a Vault Edition copy or are buying Battle Pass tier skips, you can secure the Maddox RFB even faster. Once you unlock it, the AR will be available immediately in your Warzone inventory.
