MES Detroit 2015: Event Preview
This event will be held at the Renaissance Center in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. Also known as the GM Renaissance Center or the “RenCen,” this complex is a group of seven interconnected skyscrapers, while the central tower has been the tallest building in Michigan since 1977. The address is 400 Renaissance Drive, Detroit, MI, 48243.
Team and spectator passes for the #MESDetroit25k can still be purchased online here. Passes will also be sold at the door when the event begins this Friday.
The format for this tournament will be in a double elimination Open Bracket, similar to the previous MES event in May.

The prize pool of $25,000 and 10,000 pro points will be distributed among the top four teams:
- 1st place: $15,000
- 2nd place: $5,000
- 3rd place: $3,000
- 4th place: $2,000
There will also be a 2v2 Advanced Warfare tournament held at MES Detroit this weekend with an undisclosed prize pool.
