MES Events will be hosting their second tournament of 2015 for Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare in Detroit, MI on August 21-23. Multiple teams will be competing for their share in a $25,000 prize pool and 10,000 pro points.

Location


This event will be held at the Renaissance Center in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. Also known as the GM Renaissance Center or the “RenCen,” this complex is a group of seven interconnected skyscrapers, while the central tower has been the tallest building in Michigan since 1977. The address is 400 Renaissance Drive, Detroit, MI, 48243.

Basic Information


Team and spectator passes for the #MESDetroit25k can still be purchased online here. Passes will also be sold at the door when the event begins this Friday.

The format for this tournament will be in a double elimination Open Bracket, similar to the previous MES event in May.

Prizes


The prize pool of $25,000 and 10,000 pro points will be distributed among the top four teams:

  • 1st place: $15,000
  • 2nd place: $5,000
  • 3rd place: $3,000
  • 4th place: $2,000

There will also be a 2v2 Advanced Warfare tournament held at MES Detroit this weekend with an undisclosed prize pool.

  • 12:00 PM - Tournament starts

Sunday, August 23

  • 9:00 AM - Doors open to VIP Pass holders
  • 10:00 AM - Doors open to everyone
  • 11:00 AM - Tournament starts
  • 12:00 PM - 2v2 tournament starts

Matches will be broadcasted live on Major League Gaming’s streaming platform, MLG.tv.
