On the eve of the pro point lock for pool play spots at CWL Dallas, Enigma6 and Red Reserve reigned supreme by taking home the title in their respective regions’ GameBattles 2K tournaments. This was the final chance for teams outside of the top-nine in North America and the top-five in Europe to make one last attempt at qualifying for pool play at CWL Dallas.
With everything on the line, here is a recap of all the action in each region, starting in the round-of-16.

Grand Finals
Enigma6 3-1 Cloud9
The Cloud9 from CWL Vegas seemed to be back in action, as they took down both OpTic and EnVyUs en route to a second place finish in yesterday’s 2K. Meanwhile, Enigma6 defeated Gosu Crew, eUnited, FaZe Clan and Cloud9 to pave their road to the championship. E6 secured 2,000 pro points per player and $2,000, while C9 earned 1,200 pro points per player and $1,000.
Most importantly, though, Enigma6 and Cloud9 both secured their spots in pool play at Dallas with these placings, as E6 will hold the seventh seed in NA and C9 will be the eighth. Gosu needed to outperform Pnda in order to overtake the ninth seed, but with both teams being eliminated in the round-of-16, Pnda will hold onto the final pool play spot from North America.

Red Reserve secured 2,000 pro points per player and $1,600 with their win in yesterday’s 2K tournament. Meanwhile, Splyce earned 1,200 pro points per player and $900 after coming in second.
This tournament did not have too much of an impact on the pro point standings in Europe, as Splyce, Infused, Red Reserve, Elevate and Fnatic should have the five EU pool play spots at Dallas locked up.
There was no 2K tournament in the APAC region this weekend, as CWL Sydney was taking place, where Mindfreak took home the championship.
