Just as a reminder, the point system for these power rankings will be calculated based on the rankings submitted by any of the eSportsNation staff members. These staff members were asked to rank the 12 teams in order from best to worst, with No. 1 being the best and No. 12 being the worst. Points will be rewarded to mirror a team’s ranking; for example, the first place team will receive 12 points, while the twelfth place team will receive one point.

After every week of action, we will be releasing another power rankings article where the teams will either move up or down based on how they perform in their matches, so don’t forget to check back here each week for the latest power rankings.

Without further ado, here are your power rankings for this week.

1. OpTic Gaming (108 total points; 9 first place votes)

Now with a record of 16-2, OpTic will look to continue their dominant play when they take on Team Kaliber and compLexity Gaming in Week 10.

2 . Rise Nation (95 total points)

Despite going 1-1 in Week 9, Rise Nation was able to move up one spot in our power rankings. Rise started the week with a 3-2 loss to Luminosity but bounced back with a big 3-2 win over Team EnVyUs. In Week 10, the 12-6 Rise Nation team will try to break out of their tie for second place when they face off against Dream Team and H2k.

3. FaZe Clan (90 total points)

FaZe began the week with a 3-2 win over Team Kaliber and followed that up with a much-needed 3-1 win over coL. Now tied with Rise for second place, FaZe looks to continue their winning ways when they play against Counter Logic Gaming and Team SoloMid in Week 10.

4. Team EnVyUs (84 total points)

  • Jordan “JKap” Kaplan
  • Patrick “ACHES” Price
  • Tyler “TeePee” Polchow
  • Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat

Playing without the leadership of Patrick “ ACHES” Price,  Team EnVyUs went 0-2 in Week 9 and have now dropped down two spots in our power rankings. While both series went the distance, nV couldn’t clutch up in game five, losing 3-2 to Team eLevate and Rise Nation. In Week 10, Team EnVyUs will try to get back on track when they take on Luminosity Gaming and CLG.

5. compLexity Gaming (66 total points)

Two big wins in Week 9 now bring  Team eLevate‘s record to 11-7, helping them move up one spot in our power rankings. eLv was able to take down both Team EnVyUs and Dream Team 3-2. In Week 10, eLevate will look to continue their win streak when they play against H2k and Team Kaliber.

7. H2k-Gaming (56 total points)

H2k-Gaming‘s team house did not help them in Week 9, as they went 0-2 with a 3-2 loss to TSM and a 3-0 loss to OpTic Gaming. Now with a record of 7-11, H2k will try to stay out of the bottom third of the league when they take on Team eLevate and Rise Nation in Week 10.

8.  Luminosity Gaming (41 total points)

A 2-0 performance in Week 9 helped  Luminosity Gaming move up one spot in our power rankings and brings their record to 7-11 on the season. Luminosity was able to defeat Rise Nation 3-2 and CLG 3-0. In Week 10, Luminosity will try to break their tie with H2k and TSM when they play against Team EnVyUs and Dream Team.

Going 1-1 in Week 9,  Counter Logic Gaming now holds a record of 5-13 and remains in tenth place in our power rankings. CLG picked up a huge 3-1 win over coL, but then got swept 3-0 by Luminosity. In Week 10, CLG will try to pick up some more big wins when they take on FaZe and Team EnVyUs.
