This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

Just as a reminder, the point system for these power rankings will be calculated based on the rankings submitted by any of the GAMURS staff members. These staff members were asked to rank the 12 teams in order from best to worst, with No. 1 being the best and No. 12 being the worst. Points will be rewarded to mirror a team’s ranking; for example, the first place team will receive 12 points, while the twelfth place team will receive one point.

After every week of action, we will be releasing another power rankings article where the teams will either move up or down based on how they perform in their matches, so don’t forget to check back here each week for the latest power rankings.

Without further ado, here are your power rankings for this week.

NA Power Rankings – Week 12 (Season 2)

1. OpTic Gaming (84 total points; 7 first place votes)

OpTic Gaming remains in the number one spot of our power rankings once again despite going 2-1 in Week 11. Following their 3-2 win over Hundred Thieves, a 3-1 loss against Luminosity Gaming and a 3-2 win over FaZe, OpTic now has a record of 15-5 in Stage Two, and will look to end the season in first place when they face off against Dream Team and Hundred Thieves in Week 12.

2. Team EnVyUs (76 total points)

  • Jordan “JKap” Kaplan
  • Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat
  • Johnathan “John” Perez
  • Bryan “Apathy” Zhelyazkov

Moving up three spots in our power rankings is Team EnVyUs, who went 2-0 in Week 11. EnVyUs was able to defeat Rise Nation 3-2 and Hundred Thieves 3-1 to push their Stage Two record to 13-6. In Week 12, EnVyUs will try to close out the season in one of the top two spots when they take on compLexity Gaming and H2k-Gaming.

3. FaZe Clan (66 total points)

FaZe Clan moves down one spot in our power rankings following their 0-2 showing in Week 11. FaZe lost 3-2 to both Team eLevate and OpTic, moving their record down to 12-8 on the season. Sitting in third place, FaZe will look to keep their current spot in the standings when they play against Team SoloMid and Cloud9 in Week 12.

4. Team eLevate (63 total points)

A 1-1 performance in Week 11 drops Team eLevate down one spot in our power rankings. eLevate began the week with a 3-2 win over FaZe, but then suffered a 3-1 loss to Dream Team, dropping their record down to 11-8. In Week 12, eLevate will try to solidify their playoff spot when they go up against Rise and Hundred Thieves.

5. Rise Nation (61 total points)

Rise Nation has moved down one spot in our power rankings after going 1-1 in Week 11. Rise was able to defeat coL 3-0, but then lost 3-2 to EnVyUs. Now with their record at 11-9, Rise will look to earn some crucial wins when they face off against H2k and eLv in Week 12.

6. H2k-Gaming (46 total points)

Moving up one spot in our power rankings is H2k-Gaming, who went 2-0 in Week 11. H2k improved their record to 11-9 by defeating dT 3-2 and Hundred Thieves 3-0. In Week 12, H2k will try to clutch up and earn a playoff spot when they take on Rise and EnVyUs.

7. Cloud9 (42 total points)

Cloud9 has moved up one spot in our power rankings thanks to their 2-0 showing in Week 11. C9 was able to defeat TSM 3-1 and coL 3-0 to improve their record to 11-9. As one of the teams on the “playoff bubble” right now, C9 will look to win out when they play against Luminosity and FaZe in Week 12.

8. Luminosity Gaming (34 total points)

Jumping up one spot in our power rankings is Luminosity Gaming, going 2-1 in Week 11. Luminosity began the week with wins over coL and OpTic, but then suffered a shocking 3-2 loss to TSM, bringing their record to 10-10. In Week 12, Luminosity will try to make one last push for the playoffs when they go up against C9 and coL.

9. Dream Team (32 total points)

Dream Team dropped down three spots in our power rankings following a 1-2 showing in Week 11. dT began the week with losses to TSM and dT, but then bounced back to defeat eLv 3-1, ending the week with a record of 10-10. With their playoff hopes in jeopardy, dT will try to earn some important victories when they face off against OpTic and TSM in Week 12.

10. compLexity Gaming (21 total points)

A 0-3 performance in Week 11 was somehow good enough to keep compLexity Gaming in the tenth spot of our power rankings, as the team struggled with losses to Luminosity, Rise and C9. In Week 12, the 8-12 coL is on the outside looking in, but they will still take on EnVyUs and Luminosity.

11. Team SoloMid (14 total points)

Team SoloMid actually performed well in Week 11, going 2-1 and remaining in the eleventh spot of our power rankings. TSM was able to upset both dT and Luminosity, but also lost 3-1 to C9 to bring their Stage Two record to 5-15. With no chance of making the playoffs, TSM will try to play the role of spoiler when they go up against FaZe and dT in Week 12.

12. Hundred Thieves (7 total points)

  • Matthew “Royalty” Faithfull
  • Patrick “ACHES” Price
  • Brandon “Nelson” McKinney
  • Remington “Remy” Ihringer

Finally, Hundred Thieves once again remains in last place of our power rankings, following a 0-3 performance in Week 11, losing 3-2 to OpTic, 3-0 to H2k and 3-1 to EnVyUs. In Week 12, the 2-18 Hundred Thieves will conclude their final week in the CWL when they play against OpTic and eLevate.
