Infinity Ward, Infinite Warfare’s developer, has added a few unique features to the latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise, but no major changes to the gameplay.

Voiceover packs allow players to change the voice of the in-game announcer while playing multiplayer. Now, this new patch on Infinite Warfare will add two voice packs, featuring Method Man, the Wu-Tang Clan rapper, and UK Special Forces. (It’s not the first time that a rapper has earned a voice pack in Call of Duty, as Snoop Dogg was lighting up the mic back in Call of Duty: Ghosts.)

The second voice pack, UK Special Forces, features the voice of Craig Fairbrass, who has voiced several notable characters in previous Call of Duty campaigns, including Gaz in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Ghost in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The other major change in this patch includes two new weapons: the X-Eon and the VPR.

The X-Eon is described in-game as a full-auto energy assault rifle, while the VPR appears to be a dual-barrel full-auto submachine gun. In fact, the VPR closely resembles the MP5K from Modern Warfare 2– except that the VPR has two barrels instead of one.

Season Pass owners will reportedly be given the base-version of both the VPR and X-Eon for free, while players who don’t own the Season Pass can acquire these weapons by playing multiplayer and accomplishing in-game challenges.

The UK Special Forces voice pack is available to all players for free, while the Method Man voice pack can be purchased for $3.99.

Although the voice packs won’t have any implications on Call of Duty esports, players and fans alike will be keeping a close eye on whether these two new weapons can be used in competitive play. In the past, DLC weapons have not been used on a professional level, but the VPR and X-Eon will definitely see frequent usage in casual multiplayer matches.
