The Australian Cyber League, ACL, announced the Asia Pacific Regional LAN Finals for this year’s Call of Duty Championship Wednesday afternoon. Eight teams fought their way through online qualifiers to compete in the regional finals with the hopes of earning a ticket to Los Angeles to compete in the $1,000,000 tournament.

The regional finals will take place in Sydney, Australia on February 14. The top three teams of the tournament will make it to the Call of Duty Championship. The other five, will go home with nothing. These teams are not only competing for a spot at champs, but also a $15,000 cash prize.

This event will be casted by fan favorites for the AU community, including 2014 Call of Duty Championship caster, BioAcid.

The eight teams competing at the regional finals come from online qualifiers earlier in January. Five teams from Australia, two from Asia, and one from New Zealand.
