How many people play Black Ops 7? November 2025 updated

Not as high as before, but it's decent.

Black Ops 7 was launched worldwide on Nov. 14, 2025, and with season 1 fast approaching, how many people are actually playing the game?

Like every year, BO7 was released on all the major platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Battle.net and Steam. It had a relatively modest launch player count compared to past entries, but it is still attracting tens of thousands of players.

So, if you’re wondering how many people are playing Black Ops 7 in November 2025, here’s everything you need to know.

As of Nov. 28, 2025, the active player count of Black Ops 7 on Steam alone is 69,882, according to SteamDB. This is after two weeks since the game was launched. On PC, Call of Duty splits its user base between Steam and Battle.net, so Steam doesn’t reflect the full player population.

At the time of writing, the highest player count BO7 achieved is 100,332 on Nov. 16, 2025, which was during the weekend of the game’s worldwide launch. Since then, the playe rcount rose and fell occasionally, with weekends achieving the highest count overall.

Season 1 is yet to come, so we can expect the player count to rise further on Dec. 4 and beyond. Full Warzone will also take place with the Season 1 update, so that’s expected to boost the player count much more, as the patch is packed with a ton of content.

If we consider the other platforms (PlayStation and Xbox), large portions of the Black Ops 7 community are on them, and those platform‑level concurrent player stats are not publicly broken out in detail.

Why Black Ops 7 player count seems low

One of the reasons why Black Ops 7 is underperforming when compared to past Call of Duty titles in launch numbers is that titles like Battlefield 6 and ARC Raiders attracted large player bases during the same period.

Looking at Twitch at the time of writing, ARC Raiders at 70.6K has more viewers than Black Ops 7 (31K). When players’ favorite content creators are playing other titles, factors like this divert potential players away from BO7.

In key markets such as Europe, BO7’s sales were down over 60 percent compared to BF6, and more than 50 percent compared to BO6, according to The Game Business. In comparison, BF6 has 203,425 concurrent players on Steam at the time of writing, which is significantly higher than BO7. This shows players seem to be less interested, while others are still playing previous COD versions or waiting for Warzone integration.

BO7 player count vs. competitors

Here’s a table with the player counts of competitor games versus BO7:

GameAverage players in last 30 days
Black Ops 739,772
Battlefield 6246,486
ARC Raiders263,406
CS2972,356

Now, if you’re looking to hop into BO7, make sure to have these settings sorted:
