Hold the objective with your life.

Depending on the mode you play in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, you might want to tailor your loadout accordingly. Hardpoint puts a lot of pressure on one objective throughout the match, and there are perks, weapons, and more suited specifically for that task.

Loadouts in BO7 often depend on your playstyle. This loadout focuses on playing the objective and holding every zone throughout the match. This is why some of the popular perks, like Ninja and Ghost, are absent from this setup.

Weapons

While the weapons are often personal preference depending on where you are in the camo grind, for maximum competitiveness, go for either M15 Mod 0, Ryden 45K, or Dravec 45. These are some of the best weapons for close to mid-range gunfights—perfect for contesting and holding the Hardpoint.

As a secondary, Coda 9 is a strong pick for close range, as it’s a fully automatic sidearm. You could go for a launcher to get rid of enemy Scorestreaks, but there’s not that much time for that if you’re focused solely on the objective.

Equipment

  • Field upgrade: Trophy System
  • Tactical: Flashbang
  • Lethal: Semtex

Trophy System is a must-have to hold zones in Hardpoint. It destroys enemy projectiles, denying incoming grenades. Always put it down when contesting the objective, as it often becomes a utility dump for flashes, stuns, EMPs, and more.

For the Tactical, we went with the Flashbang to slow down pushes and enter the objective. Thanks to the Guardian perk, you don’t need as much healing, so it’s a balanced trade-off with the Stim Shot. Lethals are personal preference, but Semtex is by far the most consistent one in securing kills.

Wildcard

  • Wildcard: Perk Greed

There are many Wildcards you can go for in this loadout, from Tac Expert to Prepper. We went with Perk Greed, as there are multiple perks you can equip to make your time on the objective a bit safer. Two grenades are great, but only when you can see where to throw them.

Perks

  • Perk one: Gearhead
  • Perk two: Tech Mask
  • Perk three: Guardian
  • Perk Greed: Flak Jacket

Gearhead grants two field upgrade charges, ensuring you always have a Trophy System for the next zone. It also recharges equipment over time, granting you more throwables to hold the zone. Both Tech Mask and Flak Jacket are a must-have for Hardpoint to survive all the incoming equipment.

Last on the list is Guardian for improved healing while in the zone, allowing you to equip a different tactical other than Stim Shot. All four perks combined grant the Strategist Combat Specialty, increasing your score for objectives and sabotage, and allowing you to deploy equipment faster.
