Activision, through the official Call of Duty X account, has confirmed that BO6 and Warzone season four is set to go live on Thursday, May 29. This date aligns with the conclusion of the season three battle pass timer. As usual, new CoD seasons are scheduled to drop at 11am CT / 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST.

Here’s a countdown timer so you can easily track the launch and gear up for the new season:

What’s coming in BO6 and Warzone season 4?

Season four is shaping up to be a big one, with plenty of teasers and leaks hinting at what’s on the way. The biggest highlight of the seasonal update is the return of one of the franchise’s iconic characters and the main antagonist of the Black Ops storyline, Stitch.

The season three outro cinematic released by Treyarch earlier dropped a clue about Stitch’s comeback. Turns out, Adler did not shoot him dead in the final cutscene of Black Ops Cold War. He’s still alive and locked up in an unknown prison, and that means he’s going to show up as a playable operator this season.

Adler will also have an operator skin that actually feels true to his character (the premium “Hunter” operator skin, which was a reward for purchasing the BO6 Vault Edition, gives him a high-tech look with a covered face), joining Stitch on the roster.

Weapon-wise, the cinematic showcased the LC10 SMG from Cold War and the FFAR from Black Ops 3, both of which are confirmed to be coming to the game. More weapons, including the Olympia shotgun and Pickaxe melee, are arriving during the season.

There are also new maps in Multiplayer set in Iceland, as shown in the cinematic outro, along with fresh game modes to spice up the playlist and returning features like the Grim Reaper scorestreak.

For BO6 Zombies fans, the fan-favorite Grief mode returns, pitting teams against each other in thrilling undead survival matches. There are also new limited-time modes and upcoming features, including the Shatter Blast ammo mod.

Over at Warzone, Resurgence Ranked returns to Rebirth Island, while a new gargantuan POI called The Overlook emerges on Verdansk. The Clash Mode also makes a comeback and more features are arriving at launch and throughout the season.

If you want to know more details about CoD season four, make sure to check out the roadmaps for MultiplayerZombies, and Warzone. But beyond the incoming content, I hope, like many other players, that the developers can finally come up with a solid anti-cheat system, particularly for free-to-play battle royale title.
