Best ABR A1 loadout in Warzone

Perfect for long-range gunfights.

The ABR A1 is one of the new weapons in Warzone season five, and it’s one of the top choices for long-range dominance in BR.

The ABR A1 is basically a revamped AUG. It’s a three-round burst assault rifle with good handling and power. With the right build, it can be configured to full auto, with competitive bullet velocity and minimal recoil.

If you’re looking to beam enemies across Verdansk with minimal recoil and big burst damage, the ABR A1 can edge out many classic ARs for those mid-to-long-range duels. Here’s the best ABR A1 build with the ideal weapon attachments and class setup for Warzone season five and beyond.

The Willis 3x optic offers just enough zoom and field of view for Verdansk’s vast open areas without obscuring your target. Although you can choose any optic you want, this one would be the ideal optic attachment for the ABR A1.

The Compensator muzzle will keep the recoil pattern nearly flat, allowing your second and third burst shots to land right on target, increasing the accuracy to such an extent that you’ll start lasering opponents from 50m.

Gain-Twist Barrel will increase the bullet speed and effective damage range. The Vertical Foregrip will be crucial to eliminate the horizontal pull you can face during your follow-up bursts, allowing you to be more precise and align the AUG closer to the full-auto rifles.

The Extended Mag II will come in handy to accommodate more bullets and take down multiple targets without reloading, proving to be highly effective during squad fights. You can unlock the ABR A1 through the season five battle pass, from the page six rewards track.

  • Secondary weapon: LC10
    • Muzzle: Compensator
    • Barrel: Long Barrel
    • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
    • Magazine: Extended Mag II
    • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Melee: Personal preference
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade
  • Lethal: Impact Grenade
  • Perk 1: Survivor
  • Perk 2: Tracker
  • Perk 3: Birdseye
  • Wildcard: Overkill

The LC10 SMG would bring balance to the loadout as it’s highly effective at close ranges and one of the meta weapons right now. This means you need to have the Overkill wildcard while ditching the Gunfighter and going with an 8-attachment ABR A1.

For the perk slots, include Survivor and Tracker to give you both extended survivability and the ability to follow enemy movements.

Since I have focused on a long-range build, equip the Birdseye in the third slot. It’s a must-have for long-range players as it widens your UAV coverage, shows the direction enemies face, and even detect opponents using Ghost.
