MLG Variant Rule Set Ver. 1

The first set of MLG Variant rules for Advanced Warfare have been released.

MLG, in collaboration with Sledgehammer Games, Activision, and other partnered tournament organizations, have released the official MLG Variant “Version One” game types, settings, and restrictions in preparation for this weekend’s pro point tournaments. Please note, that these are subject to change by next week.

The “Version Two” ruleset will be applied going into MLG Columbus and the MLG Pro League Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Season One.

  • Primary Weapons: All Specials
  • Secondary Weapons: All Launchers
  • Attachments: Tracker, Grenade Launcher, Akimbo
  • Wildcards: Bombardier
  • Exo Ability: Ping
  • Exo Launcher: Tracking Drone, Explosive Drone
  • Scorestreaks: UAV, Orbital Care Package, System Hack
  • Scorestreaks Modules: Bombing Run Care Package Upgrade, XS1 Goliath Recon

Search and Destroy Game Options

  • Silent Plant: Enabled

Capture the Flag Game Options

  • Capture Limit: Unlimited
  • Winning Condition: Flag Captures
  • Flag Auto-Return Time: 15 Seconds
  • Enemy Carrier Kill Icon: Delayed

Spawn Settings - All Game Modes

  • Uplink Respawn Delay: 5 Seconds
  • Capture the Flag Respawn Delay: 5 Seconds
  • Hardpoint Respawn Delay: 2.5 Seconds
  • Team Kill Penalty: None

Health and Damage - All Game Modes

  • Friendly Fire: Enabled
  • Explosive Delay: None

Spectating POV - First Person Only

Battle Chatter - Disabled
