One of the most anticipated Call of Duty games in the franchise's history will contain a fan-favorite feature at launch—GameBattles integration.

Call of Duty: WWII will have the GameBattles platform available directly out of the box, according to Michael Condrey, the chief operating and development officer of Sledgehammer Games. Condrey confirmed GB's integration into the game on Twitter yesterday after a fan asked if it will be in WWII.

This means that your favorite competitive game modes, such as Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, and Capture The Flag, can easily be played with friends after a few clicks on the GameBattles website.

GameBattles integration was an initial success in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, as it allowed PS4, Xbox One, and PC players to hop into games without having to worry about player punctuality, game rules, or false match reporting. And with it immediately being put into WWII at launch, it's almost guaranteed that it will do well for the second year in a row.
