Week 11 of the Call of Duty World League heated up on Tuesday as teams vied for playoffs spots in the intense second to last week of competition. On top of that, connection issues once again took center stage amidst many angry tweets following a forfeit.

The best match of the night took place between H2k-Gaming and Dream Team, which was a game with major playoff implications. With both teams sitting at 9-9 before the match and right on the bubble of making the playoffs, it was a must win for both teams. H2k was able to pull off the huge victory in a map five, round 11 victory. This pushed them to sixth in the standings, although they have a game in hand over the seventh and eighth place teams. Dream Team slid down to ninth place based on map win percentage and is now on the outside looking in.

Yesterday also featured some of the recurring internet connection issues, which took down OpTic Gaming. Competing against Luminosity Gaming, OpTic had host issues and all four of their players lagged out, forcing them to forfeit the series. Despite the forfeit, OpTic still has a commanding lead in the league and has all but locked up the top seed.

Here are the results from Day 2, Week 11 of the CoD World League Season 2:

North America:

  • Cloud 9 3-1 Team SoloMid
  • Luminosity Gaming 3-1 (Forfeit) OpTic Gaming
  • H2K-Gaming 3-2 Dream Team
  • Rise Nation 3-0 compLexity Gaming
  • Team eLevate 3-2 FaZe Clan
