Call of Duty World League: Stage 2 Week 2 Power Rankings
Just as a reminder, the point system for these power rankings will be calculated based on the rankings submitted by any of the eSportsNation staff members. These staff members were asked to rank the 12 teams in order from best to worst, with No. 1 being the best and No. 12 being the worst. Points will be rewarded to mirror a team’s ranking; for example, the first place team will receive 12 points, while the twelfth place team will receive one point.
After every week of action, we will be releasing another power rankings article where the teams will either move up or down based on how they perform in their matches, so don’t forget to check back here each week for the latest power rankings.
Without further ado, here are your power rankings for this week.
NA Power Rankings - Week 2 (Season 2)
1. Rise Nation (82 total points; 5 first place votes)
For the first time since the power rankings series began here at eSportsNation, we have a new team in the number one spot. Rise Nation earned this ranking by going 2-0 in Week 1, with a 3-0 victory over Team SoloMid and an impressive 3-1 win over OpTic Gaming. In Week 2, Rise will look to continue their early dominance when they take on Cloud9 and Luminosity Gaming.
2. OpTic Gaming (78 total points; 2 first place votes)
OpTic Gaming have dropped down to the number two spot in our power rankings after they surprisingly went 1-1 in Week 1 with a 3-2 win over Team EnVyUs, followed by a 3-1 loss to Rise Nation. OpTic will try to get back on track when they play against H2k-Gaming and Team eLevate in Week 2.
3. FaZe Clan (70 total points)
A strong 2-0 start for FaZe Clan keeps them in the number three spot of our power rankings, as they were able to defeat both Luminosity and compLexity Gaming 3-0. In Week 2, FaZe will look to extend their win streak when they face off against Dream Team and 100Thieves.
4. Team EnVyUs (60 total points)
Team EnVyUs went 1-1 in Week 1 as their new roster played together in the league for the first time, and they were able to move up one spot in our power rankings.
