Today, compLexity Gaming announced changes to their Call of Duty roster. After ending Stage 2 with a paltry 10th place finish, compLexity decided to revamp the old roster of:

  • Chris "Parasite" Duarte
  • Marcus "MiRx" Carter
  • Jevon "Goonjar" Gooljar-Lim
  • Richard "Ricky" Stacy

    The new roster consists of:
  • Richard "Ricky" Stacy
  • Patrick “ACHES” Price
  • Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi
  • Andres “Lacefield” Lacefield

This marks ACHES return to compLexity since his historic run with the team during Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Since Black Ops 3 was released, ACHES has played with Team EnVyUs, subbed in for OpTic Gaming, then had a short run with 100Thieves, and has finally landed with compLexity.

Lacefield comes from H2K, where he was cited as a major part of their success. It was often noted that in H2K’s wins, Lacefield went off. After a quick first-round exit in Stage 2 Playoffs, H2K’s future in CoD was unclear. H2K will likely pick up another team, as they could still qualify for the Call of Duty: World League Championship through the NA Qualifiers.

Accuracy has bounced around on teams, but his most recent noteriety comes from nearly qualifying for Stage 2 with Counter Logic Gaming, who sadly fell short of a win. Since then, Accuracy placed 21st-24th with Primed at MLG Anaheim.

This new compLexity team looks to qualify for CoD Champs, as they currently sit in a three-way tie for eighth place in NA Championship Points (needed to directly qualify for CoD Champs). The roster will be competing at MLG Orlando, which takes place on August 5th-7th.
