What to expect from Battlefield 6?

Battlefield 6 promises to deliver on multiple fronts, from a single-player campaign to all-out warfare and even a battle royale. The new installment also returns to the old-school class system as opposed to the character-based system from Battlefield 2042.

While there are multiple maps, including New York and Cairo, awaiting us at launch, season one will introduce even more content.

Here’s everything you can expect from Battlefield 6 season one, launching on Oct. 28:

  • Rogue Ops (Oct. 28): Blackwell Fields map, Strikepoint game mode, new vehicle, carbine, sniper rifle, sidearm, and attachments.
  • California Resistance (Nov. 18): Eastwood map, Sabotage limited-time mode, battle pickups feature, new shotgun, a sidearm, and attachments.
  • Winter Offensive (Dec. 9): Ice Lock Empire State limited-time map, Ice Lock limited-time event, and a new melee weapon.

Pre-orders are now available for the standard and Phantom editions of Battlefield 6. The Phantom edition includes a battle pass token with 25 tier skips, as well as a bunch of cosmetic bundles, inspired by both sides involved in the story’s conflict.
