The team noted that the disruptions “might be connected to a general outage affecting services outside our direct control,” likely referring to the large-scale AWS outage that also impacted other games and web services.
Several hours later, the team shared an update saying they had received positive feedback from players indicating that connectivity was improving, and assured the community that they would continue monitoring the situation closely.
