Battlefield 6’s season 1 battle pass operates a little differently from past games. Instead of a fixed linear track, the pass is divided into separate “paths,” opening up new ways to earn and prioritize skins and cosmetic rewards.

The battle pass features 110 total tiers, split between free and paid (premium) rewards. Progress is made by earning points through weekly challenges and general XP gains. You start in the introductory “Recruit” path, which unlocks basic skins and items, then choose between four main paths: Rogue Operators, Den Ops, Soldiers of Fortune, and Pacific Ghosts.

After completing the initial four main paths, you can unlock the Ultimate and then Prestige paths, each with additional high-tier cosmetics. If you don’t own the premium battle pass, you can claim select skins clearly marked as “free.” The premium battle pass costs 1,100 Battlefield Coins ($9.99) and is included with the Phantom Edition.
