How to find a Dog Collar in ARC Raiders

Not for the dog, though.

With a sheer amount of loot in ARC Raiders, you might be tempted to recycle most of it to have enough space in your backpack. There are a few recyclable items that you need, though, including a Dog Collar for your loyal Scrappy.

The Dog Collar appears in residential areas on any of the ARC Raiders maps. Most areas have markers, indicating the type of loot they feature (e.g., mechanical, medical, nature, etc.). However, some areas without markers still have a high chance of spawning a Dog Collar.

Here are some of the early locations where you can find a Dog Collar:

  • Dam Battlegrounds: Ruby Residence and Palm Apartments on the northwest side of the map.
  • Buried City: Plaza Rosa and Santa Maria Houses on the south side of the map.

The residential areas on the Dam Battlegrounds have a total of five buildings with two floors each. If you make it there early in the raid, there’s a high chance of finding a Dog Collar in any of the cupboards and wardrobes.

free loadout:

If you’re running with a free loadout, make sure to quickly but carefully extract, as those don’t have safe pockets to stash the Dog Collar in case of death.

On the other hand, Buried City is made almost entirely out of residential areas. ARC presence can be a bit higher with numerous Bastions and Bombardiers roaming the city center, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to find a Dog Collar here, either.

You can salvage a Dog Collar for five Fabric, but its main purpose is to train Scrappy to level two. Scrappy is a chicken in your workshop that collects materials while you’re out on raids. Leveling Scrappy up to Forager requires one Dog Collar and allows it to gather more materials.
