As the September update for Marvel Snap arrived on Sept. 5, data mined information and images for a new season battle pass for October also emerged. Here, data miners leaked early who would be coming in the next season.
Second Dinner has since confirmed the leaks in a new update ahead of the season’s launch, and the Bloodstone season will add some spooky heroes and villains to the game via Spotlight Caches and the Token Shop, too.
Here’s everything we know so far about the October season battle pass for Marvel Snap, featuring the Elsa Bloodstone season pass card.
Marvel Snap October 2023 season: Bloodstone
Second Dinner announced the October season for Snap, Bloodstone, on Sept. 29, just a few days ahead of its release on Oct. 2.
In a new video reveal hosted by Ben Brode, Elsa Bloodstone was confirmed as the season pass card, along with additional cards Werewolf by Night, Black Knight, and Nico Minoru.
Marvel Snap October 2023 season pass card: Elsa Bloodstone
- Card stats: Two Cost, two Power
- Card text: If you play another card to fill a location, give it plus three-Power.
Elsa Bloodstone can be a great fit for decks that use cards that help fill locations. This includes Mister Sinister, Brood, Ultron, Doctor Doom, and more. She has a general Power-boosting effect that can also be helpful for decks that focus on filling up two locations with good cards, such as Stature Shark, Aggro Toolbox Move, Sera Control, Sera Surfer, and Patriot.
Elsa is available in the season pass starting on Oct. 3.
Marvel Snap Bloodstone seasonal cards
Four additional cards are coming throughout the season, all properly spooky-themed. They can be found each week in Spotlight Caches or in the Token Shop.
Man-Thing – Oct. 10
- Card stats: Four Cost, five Power
- Card text: Ongoing: 1-, 2-, and 3-Cost cards here have -2 Power.
Black Knight – Oct. 17
- Card stats: One Cost, two Power
- Card text: After you discard a card, add the Ebony Blade to your hand with that card’s Power. (once per game)
Nico Minoru – Oct. 24
- Card stats: One Cost, two Power
- Card text: On Reveal: After you play your next card, cast a spell. (The spell changes each turn.)
Nico Minoru spells
- On Reveal: After you play your next card, it becomes a Demon.
- On Reveal: After you play your next card, destroy it and draw two cards.
- On Reveal: After you play your next card, move it one location to the right.
- On Reveal: After you play your next card, give it +2 Power.
- On Reveal: After you play your next card, replace that card’s location.
- On Reveal: After you play your next card, add a copy of it to your hand.
- On Reveal: After you play your next card, double this card’s Power.
Werewolf by Night – Oct. 31
- Card stats: Three Cost, three Power
- Card text: After you play an On Reveal card at another location, move there and gain +2 Power.
Marvel Snap Midnight Suns variants
Some of the best card variants yet to grace Marvel Snap are coming as part of a partnership between the game and 2K Games’ Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
“You will need some help in your fight against demonic forces this season, so we’ve worked with 2K to bring you all-new Midnight Suns Variants from Marvel’s Midnight Suns, including Black Panther, Deadpool, Jean Grey, and 21 more incredible characters that will be coming to the shop as tarot cards!”
