World of Warcraft Dragonflight patch 10.0.7 brought players to the previously locked region of The Forbidden Reach. Shortly after embarking on this new batch of content, players will gain a best-in-slot ring item called the Onyx Annulet which will be a new core gameplay mechanic.
The Onyx Annulet is a versatile piece of gear that can be upgraded with items called Primordial Stones, which boast unique and distinctive buffs. Though there are a variety of ways to obtain Primordial Stones, the best method is to return to the Zserka Vaults after acquiring keys.
In order to keep up with other players and get yourself ready for end-game content inevitably coming in future patches, players will need to continuously upgrade and slot their Onyx Annulets. Like other items of a similar type, players are able to imbue their ring with multiple Primordial Stones to give it multiple buffs.
This is everything we know about the available slots in the Onyx Annulet and how many Primordial Stones can be equipped at once.
How many Primordial Stones can go in the Onyx Annulet in WoW Dragonflight?
Players can slot three total Primordial Stones in the Onyx Annulet. While the Onyx Annulet itself is a solid piece of loot that players will want to keep equipped at all times, it is the item’s ability to slot Primordial Stones which truly makes the gear useful.
Primordial Stones give unique advantages to players that can help them overcome specific scenarios. For example, the Shining Obsidian Stone will grant players that also deal massive amounts of damage to surrounding enemies.
Given that these Primordial Stones can help players in a wide variety of situations, it may be advantageous to players to keep more than three Primordial Stones in their inventory at any given time to slot in and out of the Onyx Annulet. Primordial Stones are fairly easy to obtain around the Forbidden Reach, most effectively farmed in the Zserka Vaults or purchased by currency earned from participating in Forbidden Reach world events.
