During the offseason, May can be found streaming on Overwatch on his Twitch streaming channel – twitch.tv/iamtrevormay. He currently mains Lucio as his hero of choice in competitive Overwatch.

Speaking about joining Luminosity in the team’s press release, the 27-year-old pitcher said, “I’m really looking forward to working with Luminosity Gaming. They’ve quickly established themselves as one of the biggest names in esports, and as a passionate gamer myself, I’m excited to team up with LG and support them.”

With May being an active player in the majors, balancing leisurely streaming with his career as an MLB pitcher may be difficult, especially with the baseball season approaching. Pitchers and catchers for many professional baseball teams have already reported to Arizona and Florida for preseason workouts, and spring training is just around the corner.

The full announcement of May’s decision can be found here.
