It’s official. The offseason saga of Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, one of League of Legends’ young superstars, has come to a close.
Alliance officially revealed the addition of Larsson today, ending weeks of speculation on the status of the former Fnatic marksman.

In October, the Daily Dot revealed Larsson had been in contact with Alliance, reportedly unhappy about the situation in Fnatic. This week, Larsson flew to America with the Alliance team, apparently acting as their fifth player for the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters San Jose event.
Larsson put together an impressive Summer season, posting 167 kills to tie him for the LCS record in a single split. His 11.26 KDA also ranked second all-time, one of only two double digit tallies.
The addition of Larsson, who is replacing Erik “TabzZ” van Helvert, gives Alliance two superstars in the carry positions. Team captain Henrik “Froggen” Hansen and Larsson should make a deadly pair.
Fans will get their first chance to see Larsson in action with an Alliance sweater from Dec. 6-7 in San Jose for IEM, where Alliance will face the winner of the Cloud9 vs. PaiN Gaming match.
