CompLexity will have to use another temporary player to fill the gaps for Ricardo “Rickeh” Mulholland at stage two of ESL Pro League season nine.
Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker previously played for compLexity in 2017 and 2018. He was part of a roster that performed above expectations at the FACEIT Major in September 2018, winning an eighth-place finish alongside Legend status.
Yay was moved to the bench in December 2018 and stood in for INTZ at the third week of ECS season seven in April 2019. They only lost in the grand finals to FURIA. According to Dust2, yay was supposed to join Bad News Bears right after his brief stint with the Brazilians.
Rickeh’s visa has been delayed since the beginning of ESL Pro League season nine last April. At the time, compLexity opted for Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert, a CS:GO veteran that already represented them earlier this year at the IEM Katowice Major in February 2019 and a couple of other tournaments.
CompLexity will face off against MIBR, Renegades and Isurus at stage two of ESL Pro League. Their first game will be played today against Renegades at 7:20pm CT.
