The Togedemaru Pokémon Go Spotlight hour starts at 6pm local time and ends at 7pm local time on July 30.

The Pokémon is available as a Shiny, but there are no boosted odds. So it’s all down to luck if you find one. Still, an abundance spawning over an hour increases your chances of finding one or two in the wild.

As for bonuses, you get two Stardust when catching Pokémon, but Togedemaru is unfortunately not one of the rarer Pokémon that give extra Stardust on a successful capture. At best, you’ll get 200 Stardust from a Regular Catch up to 375 when Weather Boosted and using a Star Piece item.

On that topic, it’s also an excellent time to use a Stardust Star Piece to increase the amount of Stardust by an additional amount. If you plan to do the full hour, you could make hundreds or thousands of Stardust that you can then use to power up Pokémon or other uses like trading.
